We don´t go overboard by using excessive amounts of animation when developing a website. A website should always be functional and simple to navigate. That is one reason we avoid the use of Flash, not to mention that the use of Flash reduces your search engine visibility. We provide a complete web solution, including help with the visual assets and written content. We are also capable of producing simple video tutorials for your website.

If you need several things done but need to keep within a budget, it is not a problem. We will take the work piece by piece and spread it out over time if that works better for you. No job is too small for us and for many tasks we can work on fixed prices as long as the scope is well defined.

cad drawings

Precision drawings are extremely useful and can be used for many purposes. Does your company provide product support? If so, do your support personnel have to explain things to customers over and over? Even though it seems like a logical concept, many times it does not dawn on management that a very small investment made on having a technical document created can literaly save many hours of support time.

Do keep in mind that we have the capability of producing simple CAD drawings but we do not hold a degree or certificate in CAD. If you require extensive or complex drawings, you would be better served turning to a company that specializes in such services. For many applications, simple CAD drawings suffice.

CAD images can be used in tandem with other images when you need to illustrate details like size or when you need to draw attention to a particular product detail, as shown in the image to the right.

product photography

We are equipped to shoot professional-quality images and have the necessary expertise to refine and manipulate those images in Adobe Photoshop. The images are suitable for a variety of applications, including but not limited to web assets, brochures, business cards, technical manuals, posters and flyers.

We are based in Southern California. When it is not feasible to pick up items for product photography, they may be shipped to our studio unless it is cost prohibitive to do so.

In addition to producing the images you require, we also have access to a great number of royalty-free, stock images that can be used to fill in the gaps as needed. We are also very receptive to using all of your own images in whatever creative project we are doing for you, resizing and retouching as necessary.

weddings

aapics worked with photographer to design wedding albums

Aapics Digital Studios did not get involved in shooting weddings, but rather worked directly with the photographer to design wedding albums using the digital images from the photographer. Comments like the following one makes it all worth while. "I just got a look at the album. It looks amazing and we are very happy with it. Thank you for all your hard work, the countless hours and dedication to making our wedding memories last a lifetime. We love the end product!!!"

When you view the wedding albums, keep in mind that you are looking back 7 or more years, viewing those past capabilities. Rather than discounting the past capabilities, the wedding albums are still being presented in order to show a benchmark of past performance and also to give you an idea of the type of work that could be accomplished today with a significantly heightened level of refinement when compared to the previous work.

Carl Herkes can be labeled a Digital Handyman. When asked whether he would rather be behind a camera or behind a keyboard, the keyboard is his first choice. Although he has spent a decade honing his photography skills, his talent shines the best in the digital darkroom. Adding to the digital creativity are many years of IT experience.

As you browse through the wedding albums, you may notice that some of the "non-important links" at the bottom of the webpage are broken. Those links don't have a purpose any longer so they were left that way instead of having to regenerate all of the old flash slideshows.
